How do you know the officers are really patrolling, especially in the middle of the night?

• We provide our officers with a smartphone and are able to track patrol routes and times with a GPS. We know precisely when and where our officers traveled on each shift.
• Our officers are required to create short summaries of their patrol activities for each shift. These are uploaded for review by the Officer-in-Charge and the DHP supervising volunteers.
